The product is designed to be oil and hydrogen sulfide-free. It utilizes Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC) technology to convert calcium and magnesium into harmless micro-crystals, without increasing the sodium content of the water.

It is recommended for use in a variety of applications, including before tankless water heaters, dishwashers, beverage systems, ice machines, air humidifiers, and washers. The product is a replacement cartridge for FSB-2045H and XRT390 antiscalant systems, and it can be installed in standard drop-in cartridge housings.
